In case you have never attended the International CES, let me break it down for you. The North Hall is the place to be for iPhone and smartphone accessories. Anything that clips to or pairs with a smartphone is on display, and it is here that you will find Otterbox, Speck, and all the other big names in the phone case industry.
A world away in the South Hall, I came across a company called VYSK that offered a different kind of phone case. While other cases are concerned with protecting your phone from physical damage such as drops and spills, VYSK is the only case concerned with protecting your phone’s data.
It is my opinion that privacy over your personal information is poised to become a great battle of the 21st century. Currently, it’s a bit like the Wild West with every company and service governing itself regarding user data. The idea behind VYSK is that a case should offer protection from all forms of electronic intrusion by offering physical and software methods for protecting user data.
We stopped by the OtterBox booth at CES 2015 to check out what was new and exciting, and they did not disappoint! The new Resurgence power case for the Apple iPhone 6 will extend the life of your device and provide a full extra charge.
The Resurgence case is both a battery case and a MIL-SPEC drop-tested case in one! It packs 2,600mAh of power, which provides more than two times the battery life of the iPhone 6. Otterbox’s unique Auto-Off technology prevents overcharging by switching off the battery case when the phone is fully recharged.
Although it packs an internal battery, the Resurgence case retains a slim profile thanks to its redesigned circuitry.
The Resurgence case for iPhone 6 will be available in early 2015 with an MSRP of $99.
Before walking out the door each day, I check my pockets: do I have my phone, my wallet, and my keys? It’s a lot of gear to carry around, but with the new Commuter Series Wallet Case from Otterbox, I could condense my daily carry items into a single, convenient package.
I caught up with Otterbox at the 2014 International CES show and learned a few things about the Commuter Series line of wallet cases. Currently available for the Apple iPhone 5/5s and the Samsung Galaxy S4, each case has a compartment on the back which can hold credit cards, cash, keys, and other small items such as jewelry.
You are all ready to go for a big night on the town. Your hair is done and your outfit is perfectly coordinated. You can’t help thinking to yourself that you look pretty good. But then it happens. Seeing as you can’t go out with your wallet, keys and phone, you end up putting them in your pocket, creating an unsightly protrusion that ruins the line of your outfit. Especially if it is a very big night, this can increase the chances of you losing one or more of these essential items. It can definitely put a damper on your night and the days to come.
Luckily, OtterBox has come up with a simple solution for both of these unfortunate situations. The company, known worldwide for its nearly indestructible mobile phone cases, has recently introduced the Commuter Series Wallet for iPhone 5/5s and the Samsung Galaxy S4, a protective mobile phone case and wallet in one. No more having to worry about figuring out where you have put your cards, cash and phone. They’re all in one handy place.
If you were caught in the middle of nowhere with nothing but your iPhone, you probably won’t survive. Just imagine what else you can do once your battery light starts to blink. I bet you can’t do anything. But what if you have an iPhone case that’s equally exciting as your iPhone? What if your case can do more wonders than merely cover and protect your phone? Just like this IN1 case – an iPhone case Swiss knife!
Even if you are not into outdoor activities like mountain climbing and camping, you’ll still find a lot of use in the IN1 case. This multi-tool iPhone case has been innovatively designed to become the ultimate phone protector. It literally functions like a Swiss knife, with several tools inserted at the back of the case.
